Once again, I find myself packing up all that I own, leaving everything I know, and saying good-bye all my family and friends for another adventure. This time, I will be off the Washington D.C. To those of you who don't know, I am graduating this Spring. I put all my eggs in one basket and worked towards getting an Internship with Senator Enzi (R-WY) this summer. Fortunately, I got it (The day they called to inform me, I was in the shower and the missed call with a DC area code nearly gave me a heart attack)!
The Internship starts June 2nd and I have to secure travel and housing before then. If anyone has any tips besides Craigslist, let me know.
This is particularly interesting, because unlike my previous excursions, I don't know exactly when (or if) I'll be coming back. Many of Enzi's staff are former Interns. Either way, this will be a huge boost to my resume and an incredible experience.
As you can see, I have been reading up on our nation's capitol.
